Subject: Fwd: HepC
I got Alison Harrop's labs back and her Hep C was low positive. She had an extensive work up following the positive result and it seems to be a false positive. In my opinion she is safe to be a surrogate. Please read below.......

I had a blood test done in Feb 2015 so I could donate breastmilk and my Hep C results were negative. Then when getting bloodwork done for this surrogacy it came back low reactive. Another test was ran to see if the virus was replicating and that test was negative. My OB Dr. Collis made a call to the high risk OB Dr. Pullman to seek advice. He said that it could of been 3 didn't reasons I got a low reactive and that all 3 reasons should not be a concern and I can proceed as there is not an active infection.
1. False positive
2. With the test there could of been some cross reactivity
3. I could of been exposed, but no longer have it
