Shannon,

As per my voice message, your labs and ultrasound confirm that you are ready to start on Estrogen patches. Your an will be:

1) decrease Lupron to 5 units at night every night 
2) you should NOT be taking birth control pills
3) put on 1 vivelle patch today. Change the patch on the 23rd. 
4) put on 2 patches on the 26th and leave them on until the 28th
5) put on 4 patches on the 28th and leave them on until the 31st
6) Change the 4 patches to 4 fresh patches on the 31st
7) Go in for ultrasound and E2 level on Sept 1st. 

This is consistent with the calender you have. Perfectly clear? If not, e mail me

I wanted to let you know that when I received Abbi's ultrasound today I was surprised to see in her records that she has a history of a preterm birth, at 28 weeks. She had not told me this at her interview. She has a bicornuate uterus which has been associated with preterm birth however her son delivered at 38 weeks. It is unusual that one delivery would be at term and her second delivery would be preterm due to bicornuate uterus. So I called and had a long discussion with her. She told me that during her second pregnancy she had no prenatal care and was in a physically abusive relationship which is why her doctors suspected the preterm birth. The 28 week little boy did well and she gave him up for adoption. This is important information for you and possibly for her IPs to know. I definitely would NOT recommend putting back more that ONE embryo. 

I would continue with ONE embryo.
